From 4-Foot Perimeter Fencing to 12-Foot Security Enclosures

We manufacture and fabricate commercial chain link at our own Ohio facility, so we control the gauge, coating, and mesh spacing on every job instead of ordering off a supplier's shelf.

Height

Most commercial runs go up 6 feet for perimeter security, with taller options up to 12 feet for high-security enclosures like storage yards and utility sites.

Galvanized or vinyl-coated

Galvanized chain link is the standard for warehouses, lots, and job sites. Vinyl-coated chain link in black or green holds up just as well and blends into a property line better, which is why we see it more on retail and office sites.

Gauge and mesh

We build with 9-gauge and 11-gauge fabric in a standard 2-inch diamond mesh, stepping up to heavier gauge on sites that see repeated impact or attempted entry.

Privacy slats and gates

Privacy slats woven through the mesh block sightlines into loading docks and equipment yards. Single walk gates handle foot traffic, double drive gates open for delivery trucks, and cantilever slide gates keep the opening clear where a hinged gate can't swing.

Which combination makes sense depends on what's behind the fence. A tennis court or ballfield calls for a taller, lighter-gauge fence with no privacy slats. A parking lot bordering a residential street usually gets slats and a heavier gauge. An industrial yard storing equipment gets the heaviest gauge we stock, plus a cantilever gate sized for trucks.

  • Once approvals are received and installation begins, we aim to complete most commercial chain link projects in one day. Larger projects, site conditions, weather, or gates requiring additional setting time may extend the installation timeline.

  • Yes. We schedule installation around loading dock hours, tenant traffic, or active construction phases so the fence goes up without shutting down your operation. Tell us your constraints when you request a quote and we'll build the timeline around them.

  • For contracted installation projects, Mae Fence can manage the applicable local permitting approvals on your behalf. To verify property lines, we will need a copy of your site survey. We do ask you have this readily available during your scheduled estimate.

  • Even though automation is not part of our current offering, each gate can be fabricated to your exact specifications so an automated system can be added seamlessly. Please be sure to let your specialist know the specifications needed for your gate system.
